Camino
The slower you walk, the more time you have.
(and also less shin splints).
From a chance bathroom encounter in Leon to the end of the world, an adventure testing both my physical & spiritual limits.

Even after completing the "Actual" Camino, certain elements from the journey will never be forgotten. I think I most appreciate the little things - like putting sugar in a cafe con leche, an ice cube in an afternoon drink, or finding both earplugs when arriving late to the albergue.

Now back in the States I may call it a cappuccino, have ice to spare, and thankfully don't need earplugs - but a certain mentality and approach to each day remains from that pilgrimage.
